When I first began taking photos I stored them in PhotoBucket and then put them on my blog. I noticed recently that this one was missing from my blog. PB had deleted it for violating terms of service. Ridiculous.

One of those days when the weather is spectacular. We were fortunate. We flew up to Cape Cod for a few days to visit my Dad. And we were rewarded with this.

The rocks in the background and the attitude of the surfer make this one of my favorite surfer photos.

Down on Virginia Beach with the birds flying around I managed to swirl and capture this shot with a telephoto lens.

We took the ferry to Martha's Vineyard. This was one of my first opportunities to use a telephoto lens. I was amazed that any of the photos turned out well with all the bouncing up and down. Click on the photo for a more detailed view.

Standing on the Huguenot Bridge in Richmond taking photos. It's always nice when a boat passes by.

One of my favorite surfer photos. The look of serenity on her face never gets old.

I thought this guy seemed uninvolved with the competition as he headed up the beach. But maybe he was thinking about his performance.

A few years ago it snowed in April here in Richmond. This was very unusual and it prompted a walk around the neighborhood and some photo taking.

I really like the way the safety cords curl around the surfers in this type of photo.
