and a drink or two
vodka ice and cigarettes
some great music too.
Gummies and some pills
Melatonin's good
better still a mountain path
to a ledge and view.
When the last day on this earth
finally rolls around
let's do it well with no regrets
get swiftly out of town.
Acknowledging sincerity
no matter all the falls
appreciated not too much
and caring not at all.
Bring the drama if they must
all of it is ending
dancing to the big boombox
mushroom clouds descending
Silhouetted in the light
vanishing, quite mad
a slightly silly monument
losing the baggage.
