Honey Do

I added a second video.  My grandson, Charlie, took the poem and added some music from a resource for this sort of thing.

Honey Do

Let me be upon the grass
while I'm out here working
building something
holes and inches
boring counting
floating

No one's supervising
backyard still undone
let me sit and brush
the grass

grab some tufts for fun.

Waste time for a longer while
toss aside the hammer
feel the sun upon my face
caress some leaves

feel better.

Let me kiss the ground a bit
when no one is looking
like survivors everywhere
from outrageous journeys.

Oh the sun is going down
and there is work to do
let me sway upon the earth
and dance again for You.

Charlie did it! I hope he will do some more as well.

Waiting To Reappear
