Never Find Home Fast

Monarchs in the lightest way

gather in the mean

between the sky high

beast of fire

and stomachs fluttering.

Rise my little beauties

circle and head north

conquer mountain ranges

everywhere give birth.

Find the children hurt the most

sun dial them with flowers

all the journeys into night

toward signal towers.

Guide me like an ancient star

throw me to the wind

I am we are always here

abandoned once again.

Cover me with butterflies

let them eat my skin

find the light that grows inside

and constellate darkness.

Never scare  the children

walk right off the ground

discover mass migration

eat and sleep unbound.

Some things don't last

too very long

and I am one

always

Just a short five cent of time

leaves of weariness

luscious wing songs

sailing round

up and out again.

I am the feast apparent

or at least wild grass

all of us are journeying

and won't arrive too fast.
