The Wave

They say he passed away for sure

the wave came where he slept

he seldom left the house at all

it's gone now, nothing's left.

Freak wave on the coastal region

must have been a quake

One hundred feet it soon was over

So then salads, steak?

Never really got to know him

Cold, indifferent guy

Ran down south when young

just vanished

our class one more down,

wine?

Shelly told me about his house

she kept in touch somehow

they used to travel round

together

back then, sixties, town.

Put the game on now

Oh, would you?

Boston needs some runs.

Afterwards, let's visit

downtown, at the pub,

when done.
